A document is not considered recorded in the Official Records until we have completed the recording process by applying a Clerk's File number and book and page numbers. Do NOT wait until the last minute to record time sensitive documents such as liens. Please be advised that there may be occasions where we will be unable to record a document immediately due unforeseen circumstances such as computer problems, document rejection issues, redaction requirements or other facility issues. This may vary from time to time depending upon circumstances, volume and conditions. If you mail your document, it may take several weeks to process.Your original documents will be mailed back to you that is why you must provide a self-addressed stamped envelope. Be mindful that our offices close to the public at 4 pm.
